The Rally for Progress and Renewal ((フランス語:Rassemblement pour le Progrès et le Renouveau), RPR) is a political party in Benin.
==History==
The party was established in 1998,〔''Africa South of the Sahara 2003'', Psychology Press, p75〕 and contested the 1999 elections in an alliance with the National Union for Solidarity and Development. The two parties received 2.2% of the vote, winning a single seat,〔Machioudi Dissou (2002) ''Le Bénin et l'Épreuve Démocratique: Leçons des élections de 1991 à 2001'' Editions L'Harmattan, p81〕 taken by the RPR's Valentin Aditi Houdé.〔(Proclamation of the definitive results of the legislative elections of 30 March 1999 ) Constitutional Court〕
In May 2014 the party joined the National Alliance for Development and Democracy.〔(Birth of a new grouping of political parties in Benin: Final communiqué of the Constituent Congress of the AND ) La Presse du Jour, 3 June 2014〕 The Alliance won four seats in the 2015 parliamentary elections.
